In case you didn’t know, Tana Mongeau is currently on her “Tana Mongeau and Friends World Tour”. Today, (August 4th) would be a tour date she will not forget. Mongeau and her friends started this tour back in July and have been traveling the US to meet their fans since. On August 4th, in Freehold, New Jersey, Mongeau’s show was interrupted by the local police department as a parent of one of the teens in the audience dialed 911 to accuse the star of being overly sexual and spreading vulgar language.

Tana took to Snapchat a few moments after the police interrupted her show and addressed the situation by angrily saying:

“I wanna give a giant shoutout to the parents who brought their kids to my show, and then called the police, because they don’t like swear words or sexual innuendos. Like I understand that what I do is vulgar, but as a parent, I think it’s your job that before paying money for a ticket to a show, you should watch the videos—come to a show of mine. Also, I don’t-nothing were doing on stage was any worse than anything I do in my videos. If anything it was better, we were censoring ourselves, I don’t understand. I’m not out here saying I’m the best role model, but like parenting like that really blows my mind.”

She explained the situations to her fans and followers by blaming the parent of the teen. She said each parent should atleast research who they’re taking their child to see if they were really concerned about the language she used. At the end of her rant, she posted her last snap story sending a message to the fans waiting for her outside:

“So to everybody at my Freehold show, as soon as the cops leave, I’ll be back on stage. I love you guys.”

Now, if you watch her videos and follow her, you would know she does not really keep anything to herself, as she is open about her life. She also recognizes that her tour audience is a younger generation of teens and her tour mostly consists of playing games with her friends like “The Hot Seat” where a series of questions is asked with one another and if they decide not to answer, they get points taken away. At the end of the game, who ever has less points, has to get a punishment. So was her show as vulgar as it was made to look by the angry parent? Let us know what you think!

  1. It is clear the author did not proofread this article before posting it. This article had so many grammatical errors it was cringe-worthy! The poor grammar, spelling mistakes, etc made it difficult to read! Is there an editor for this site? Articles should pass through an editing and proofreading stage to ensure they’re professionally and thoughtfully written. Example #1 of many: the first sentence reads “… Tana Mongeau’s is on her ..” COME ON!
