Fifth Harmony‘s Lauren Jauregui has had enough of the media’s harassment towards her and her alleged girlfriend.
Last week, pop-singer, Jauregui had to put an end to all of her fan’s delusions that her and former band member Camila Cabello had a romantic relationship involved since they met in 2012.
And this week, she clapped back to the media outlets in her mentions talking about her new photo shoot with rumored girlfriend Lucy Vives-daughter of Spanish singer Carlos Vives-instead of acknowledging and writing about her past events where she stood up for feminists and talked about social issues in Austin, Texas.
And I’m not sure if you follower her or not-which you should- but she truly stands up for what she believes in. She even has this link in her Twitter bio!
Yes, standingrockinfo.com – the main website to provide information and resources for the Dakota Access Pipeline.
On March 12th, she actually visited Austin-like I mentioned before- to “an afternoon of discussions on the intersection of art and activism”. As the event was describeed on the Teen Vogue/Urban Outiftters article.
During her time to talk, Jauregui made a very good statement that has stuck to me since:
Jauregui, though, shared the stage in Austin with the beautiful Amani, who also made remarking points throughout the day.
Some Twitter fans also crazed at the fact that Jauregui bumped into young activist and actress Rowan Blanchard beside the panel stage!
In case you’re interested in listening to the conversation, an amazing fan recorded an Instagram Live stream and uploaded it to Youtube!
Although this is just a pinch of what Jauregui has done to stand up for what she believes in, the media should continue to support Lauren Jauregui, a singer with a beautiful and powerful mindset.
